Hello, my name is Parisa Burton, and I am doing a work-study program here at Techdesigno. I am a rising junior at The College of New Jersey studying marketing and journalism. This opportunity has enabled me to apply these skills to applicable company projects and gain hands-on experience relevant to my field of study.
I am constantly expanding my skillset through in depth training and the help of experienced mentors teaching me the ropes of website design and development. I also get to experiment with new technology like artificial intelligence (AI), which is revolutionary.
I am able to exercise my journalism skills through writing company and client blog articles for search engine optimization (SEO) purposes, photography and editing. Additionally, I am learning critical marketing skills including using social media and creating email marketing campaigns.
Every day of work I leave feeling more knowledgeable in digital marketing and the components of website design. I am grateful for the experience as it has given me a competitive advantage in my career by enabling me to gain valuable skills others do not have the opportunity to learn.
